Lunch Lecture: The power of interdisciplinary collaboration in healthcare

Lunch Lecture: The power of interdisciplinary collaboration in healthcare

How can we make an impact in healthcare practice, and tackle complex healthcare challenges like staffing shortages or purposefully implementing technological solutions? The answer lies in interdisciplinary collaboration. Yet, working across disciplines isn’t always easy—different perspectives, jargon, and research approaches can create barriers.

In this talk, the Technology in Healthcare Transformations research group, that unites researchers from all BMS departments, will share real-life examples of how interdisciplinary teamwork leads to better solutions to improve healthcare.

Through cases like optimizing nurse staffing and effective virtual care delivery, overcoming legal, technical, and personal hurdles in healthcare innovation, we will show how collaboration works in practice—when done right. Want to make a real impact in healthcare while exploiting your own discipline? Join us and discover how to unlock the full potential of interdisciplinary teamwork.
